A one time gift is just one way of giving, but we have many to choose from. Explore some of the following options:
Some donors prefer to establish pre-authorized monthly donations rather than making an annual donation. A single cumulative tax receipt is issued in January for monthly donations made in the previous taxation year.
The impact of your monthly gift:
- Funding to more than 500 students & learners since our inception!
- Supporting initiatives in Mi'kmaw-led education, cultural revitalization, and language preservation!
Donating publicly traded securities or mutual funds is a tax-efficient way to support the mission of the Foundation for the Advancement of Mi’kmaw Education. By gifting these assets directly, you may eliminate capital gains tax while making a meaningful contribution to Mi’kmaw learners and communities.
You can donate Securities or Mutual Funds to the foundation easily by filling out our Canada Helps Securities & Mutual Funds Form, start by clicking here.
A convenient and tax-efficient way to manage charitable giving, allowing donors to maximize the impact of their contributions. Consider growing your investment in our mission by recommending a grant from your DAF today. We are happy to work with your DAF administrator to facilitate your giving.
Most DAF donations require the organiation's charitiable number. For reference our number is 86626-2348-RR0001
