The Foundation for the Advancement of Mi'kmaw Education vision is that all Mi’kmaw learners in Nova Scotia, across all generations and communities, will thrive through greater access to Mi’kmaw centred education, language, and culture - so all community members can confidently create their own paths for today and the next seven generations.

We support learners in speaking, reading, and writing Mi'kmaq with confidence & pride by cultivating & financially supporting community-led initiatives with the same mission.
Cultural knowledge passed through generations
Our foundation proudly supports a variety of iniatives and events that promote & encourage others to particpate in Mi'kmaw traditions, teachings, and activities.

Michelle leads the foundation, helping establish the organization and grow it's capacity.
Blaire brings an immense amount of experience to our team as the Executive Director of our partner, Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey.
